Amazing Before-And-After Modular Kitchen Remodel Design

Small Italian Style Modular Kitchen Design

The Homular Interior has been living in this over the last ten plus years it's the unit she actually bought off plans and initially contacted  because wanted a soft refresh of the apartment. there was just no light it was literally the ceilings were actually concrete really sort of gearing towards which is not necessarily keeping in with her aesthetic and  most there was a lack of storage the project began. with the modular kitchen one of the main concerns obviously was lack of storage but also just the dated look and feel of the cabinetry. clients an entertainer and a cook as well so getting top-notch appliances but also being able to squeeze in a pantry into a sized modular kitchen is one of the main features the kitchen is two-tone. we have white slab doors for the uppers and wood grain veneer for the lowers in terms of what used on the actual. countertop surfaces the island of the countertop and the backsplash are all one consistent material and we ended up going with the quartz. with that came the decision as to whether we should paint. out the concrete ceiling we actually hemmed and hawed about it. quite frankly but seeing as this is not an authentic.

let's just do it paint every thing fresh and white just give the whole base of blank canvas to work with by building out the tray ceiling this gave us an opportunity to be able to play with our fifth wall I mean it's no secret that wallpaper I ended up choosing this beautiful. wallpaper it's soft and ethereal it sort of has this really cool watercolor super glad that client was 100% on board. I think the end result is fantastic. so clearly the wallpaper wasn't enough drama I really wanted to go bigger and bolder and can't really get any bigger than this mass of chandelier. it's beautiful and elegant here's a side note I actually didn't know that it weighed 130 pounds this light is massive those are all glass pieces they're not acrylic.

So that was fun to install yeah anyway it's large and in charge but it's makes a statement right because this is completely open space I wanted to make sure that the living room dining room and the kitchen were cohesive and flowed together in the living room I ended up including a built-in unit. I sort of treated this unit as a piece of furniture versus taking it all the way up to the ceiling I was able to give my client a ton of storage like there are legitimately. some drawers that are empty because got so much story which is great you don't want every drawer to be completely overflowing and packed. with stuff everything is nice and neat and tidy at the end of the day although there are a lot of custom elements in this  I did do a lot of mixing and matching and ended up getting a slew of pieces off the shelf including this amazing coffee table. It's sexy can you say this about a coffee table but it's so different the finish on this table is a lacquered linen. which just adds a little bit of that organic texture into the living room to play off the linen on the table if you take a closer look into the built-ins the inset shelves as well as the backer board for the television are a linen finish as well so it creates a more cohesive look the entrance or that foyer as I like to call it is pretty much a huge massive rejigging the space and giving her clothes storage able now to put away. all her winter jackets all her cleaning supplies everything is tucked away and neat and tidy this done is pretty big.

Which gave the opportunity to be able to add a small little work just for her and we gave her a ton of pull out drawers. so able to tuck away all her stuff in there and the space is clean and tidy the guest bathroom again initially was supposed to be a minimal facelift just redoing. Some of the dated floor tile and possibly including a new vanity we ended up taking out the tub because it's not really necessary as  client has another  master en suite. keeping the bathroom just black and white high contrast just pretty sleek and middle from the beginning I wanted this space to have that feminine the bedroom although functional the issues. in there were again lighting and the furniture was all dark wood mahogany a bit of that masculine fortunate enough to be able to have access to the bulkheads above the bed. which enabled us to wire some pot lights the back wall of the bedroom is 14 feet long which is huge mung we're able to fit a king-size bed to 30-inch night tables I know it's huge and a wall that size called for some drama. so I toyed around with a whole bunch of different concepts and ideas including doing an upholstered wall I ended up going with a beautiful. wallpaper from and it's real quartz  this is the craziest thing in the entire world if you actually go closer to the wall you're able to see the beautiful texture and Sheen and variation in the wallpaper.

It adds a little bit of that sparkle drama and glamour into that room otherwise it would have just been a long bear wall and then also has this beautiful en suite. the look from the beginning was to turn this into an in-home ended up swapping out the drop-in tub with a beautiful freestanding tub that's on this  little platform gave her a brand-new vanity with storage new tile by increasing the shower size during the renovation. we were able to give her a wall-to-wall bench again this really just speaks to that whole spa vibe that trying to create in this en suite and I think it looks amazing previously the door to the en suite was build her basic and problematic. because it was in swinging and really took up a lot of space in the actual room itself. so we ripped that out and started from scratch and decided at the end to give her two beautiful French doors what best about these French doors not only are they like super cute and beautiful is that they actually you can swing them in know that they swing both ways it's not racy and I think this swing both ways I can say this I can all honesty since the renovation has been done been aping up her entertaining she's just completely wowed and in with her space that's it feel I was like all over the place.
