If you want you can choose the main amenity for preparing meals outdoors which would be an outdoor grill/oven. You don’t have to go all out and buy an outdoor sink and counter tops, etc. You still have your indoor kitchen sink to wash dishes and instead of counter tops you can purchase some cheap wooden picnic end tables for preparing meals on. Just think, you don’t have to spend extra money on gas grills and running water outdoors; think of the cost of running the appliances as well which will help you to determine which appliances for outdoors you can go without. You can save hundreds of dollars if you just choose a propane grill for the outdoors rather than choosing a gas stove.

You can also save money by using patio umbrellas instead of building expensive awnings to cover and protect your outdoor kitchen appliances.
